You do not have a plan. You are incoherent. You are having problems because you did not review your environment. You clearly have no understanding of DNS or else you would understand why you were having problems with logging in. Here's a suggestion:
1. State what you're going to show 2. State, in detail, the specific configuration you have PRIOR to installing anything 3. Do the installs and explain where you got them 4. Know and understand all of the relevant configurations so that you can highlight them if they are not default 5. Rehearse/Practice at least once in advance. Stop using repetitive filler words -- 'alright...so...of course...ummm...kind-of' and all of that. You have clearly been copy-pasting using prior/example configurations which is NOT something the fresh user will see. This leave them lost almost immediately. There is no defined beginning or end for the user experience to replicate. You actually made me not want to even attempt what you did which is the opposite of what people search for.
I want to use a captive portal in my little centos 6 desktop with 2 eth interfaces. I don't need radius because I want only one user that should login to a web page from 3-4 devices (laptop, tablet, iphone) with the same user only 1 hour/day, and if possible log all the internet traffic of devices.
